Slot streamers, are they using fake money?

Let me start by saying, all of the top twitch slot streamers deals are going to be different. Some of then are going to be transparent about their deals while others are not. At the top level of viewership, these online gamblers are doing over 100$ a spin on slots, sometimes up to $1000 per spin  which can really add up when you consider it is possible to do 2 spins per second with the turbo mode turned on in most games.

Bonus Hunts:

Often I see streamers doing huge bonus hunts, where they collect as many bonuses as they can with a set amount of money, sometimes they are using a million dollars or more. I have done many bonus hunts myself, and just by using simple math, I think something may be a little bit off with how they are showing their bonus hunts on streams. I found it curious that none of the top streamers  will never collect the bonuses on stream, but already have them pre collected when they start. The average bonus is collected at about 100x the bet, so if you have 1000$ and you are doing 1$ spins, you can expect to collect about 10 bonuses. Sometimes you can be very lucky and collect 15 or even 20 bonuses with that kind of money, but you will also have the occasional 5 bonuses collected. The reason I am bringing this up is almost all the top streamers do daily bonus hunts and collect them at 50x or lower. Now this can happen from time to time, but it isn't possible for it to happen as often as they are showing. My guess is the reason they are doing this is to give their viewers a false sense of gambling and always show themselves winning so that they sign up for that website.

So are they fake?

Some of them are surely using fake money, I am not here to call any of them out, I will just leave you with this simple math.

Most slots have around 95% return to player

  • That means for every 100$ spin, you are likely to lose 5$
  • You can do roughly 2 spins per second, but for this let's make it an average of 1 spin per second to make up for them switching games every once in a while and talking to viewers.
  • Let's consider they are doing 100$ spins for this even though they are often doing $500 or $1000.
  • Every second they stream they lose roughly 5$ (100$ spin x.95 for return to player %)
  • Every minute they lose $300 (5$ x 60 seconds)
  • Every hour they lose $18000 ($300× 60 minutes)
  • The top streamers stream 12 hours a day 7 days a week so they lose on average $216,000 a day.
  • $216,000 a day 31 days a month is 6.7 million dollars a month in losses
  • Now multiply that number by 5 or 10 depending on the streamers bet size $500-$1000

With all of that said, I think it is possible that they are making 5 million or more a month off of their affiliation pay outs, but I can promise you that they don't make enough money to lose between 6 million and 60 million a month.

Mind you not everyone is the same, and some are more transparent then others, here is the top 5 slot streamers, you can check them out yourselves and be the judge.
